Investment Advisor & Vice President of Financial Planning
Stephen MacIntosh partners with individuals, families, and businesses to help them achieve their financial goals through evidence-based investing and comprehensive wealth management. As a Certified Wealth Strategist® and fiduciary, he provides independent, objective advice with an unwavering commitment to acting in his clients’ best interests. Stephen takes pride in building lasting relationships and helping clients make informed financial decisions that support their goals, aspirations, and long-term financial well-being.
As Vice President of Financial Planning and Investment Adviser at Argyle Capital Partners, Stephen works closely with clients to develop thoughtful financial strategies and build smart, sustainable investment portfolios aligned with their values and long-term objectives. He is passionate about helping individuals and families create meaningful legacies, foster multi-generational financial security, and deploy capital in ways that generate both positive impact and strong financial outcomes.
Before joining Argyle Capital Partners, Stephen held several executive leadership positions, including serving as General Manager of two business units for a Fortune 300 company across Ventura and Santa Barbara counties. He also led a division within a local government agency, overseeing multi-million-dollar contracts and serving as a key liaison on complex, multi-jurisdictional initiatives. These experiences provided him with extensive expertise in strategic planning, financial oversight, leadership, and organizational management.
Outside of work, Stephen is devoted to his family. He is married to his hero—an emergency room nurse—and together they are raising two children, two dogs, and an oversized cat. In his spare time, he enjoys playing tennis, exploring local trails on long hikes with the family dog, and pursuing his lifelong passion for world history. He is also an avid follower of business, economics, and financial markets, consuming what he jokingly describes as an unhealthy amount of financial news.
