Greg is a partner at Monogram Capital, a consumer-focused private equity firm located in Los Angeles. He works across all aspects of investments, from sourcing and diligence to deal structuring and operations. He joined Monogram as its third partner and member of the investment committee when the firm had made initial investments in Pizza Studio and Dig Inn, and since joining he has helped the firm make eight additional investments and to develop an active presence in the food & beverage space.
Greg is also the Founder & CEO of Venice Brands, an investment platform that makes majority and minority investments into emerging consumer brands, primarily food & beverage. Venice Brands focuses on brands that have the potential to become leaders in categories that it believes are "on-trend" and where its team of executives and functional experts can add sizable value.
Prior to joining Monogram, Greg held P&L responsibility for POM Wonderful. His responsibilities included setting the company's strategy and annual budget, creating sales targets and setting pricing for all products, managing a 30+ person sales team, leading strategic and operational initiatives, managing financial reporting & accounting, and approving all employment agreements & capex. He started with the Wonderful Company as a Director of Strategy and M&A, where he led the diligence of potential acquisitions and many portfolio company initiatives.
Greg was an Engagement Manager at McKinsey, where he spent 5+ years in the CPG, media & entertainment, and private equity industries. He also worked in partnership marketing for US Airways, helping to redesign the company's credit card portfolio and member benefits, and to develop and implement a national advertising campaign.
Greg is a graduate of Harvard Business School and Harvard Law School (both with distinction), as well as the Calloway School of Business at Wake Forest (summa cum laude). He is a member of the California State Bar.
